June 5, 2008, Vancouver, BC – Axia Software is pleased to announce the formation of its Corporate Board of Directors. “The establishment of our highly qualified Board of industry leaders will help to propel Axia forward as we continue to grow and penetrate new markets” said Co-Founder and CEO, Graham Carter. The Board consists of the newly appointed chairman Michael Costello, formerly President and CEO of the BC Transmission Corporation and BC Hydro; Mike Gardner, CEO of Recombo; Michael d’Abadie, Partner at d’Abadie Moody Charted Accountants; Herbert Dodd, QC, Partner at Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP; Trevor St Germain, Co-Founder and CTO of Axia Software Corporation; and Graham Carter, Co-Founder and CEO of Axia Software Corporation.
Until 2005, the new chairman, Michael was the President and CEO of the BC Transmission Corporation, and prior to this he was President of BC Hydro and Power Authority. He also held the positions of Deputy Minister of Finance and Secretary to the Treasury Board and Assistant Deputy Minister of the Provincial Treasury for the Government of British Columbia. Michael has served as the Chair of the Canadian Electricity Association, and Chair of the Energy Council of Canada. At present he is on the Board of the Ontario Power Authority, In Transit BC, and the Vancouver Island Health Authority

The appointment of Michael Costello was formalized at the inaugural Board Meeting in March, 2008.
